I think La Sumida gets a lot of roses from Weeks. Was thinking about a couple from Heirloom. I buy most of my roses from La Sumida and Otto. I get on Facebook and we have a local "rants & raves" group page, and I see so many people ranting about idiots flicking cigarettes out their windows and it just amazes me how stupid people can be. So with the Carr Fire and the Mendocino Complex fire, everybody is kinda scared, because it could easily be us again! I feel so bad for everybody who've had to evacuate, and especially those who've lost everything in the fires. Thankfully it didn't hit the whole town, and my family didn't have to evacuate, altho we were on alert. People are really nervous because it was a crazy evacuation.
Plus we were hit with a big fire back in '08 and lost quite a lot of homes. We're all on high alert because we have sooo many trees around us and it's been hot and dry. I'm not in central CA, or by the coast, I'm in Northern CA in the Sierra Foothills up in Paradise, about halfway between Sac and Redding. Here the photos upload so easy and you can put waaaay more than their limit of 10 per posting. I mainly like to post photos, and it was getting extremely frustrating over there.
